It's a hot summer day during this wonderful July. Which is also the month we are spending this month with lots of intensity, integrity, and intelligence. Oh, it's true, it's true. It was the year 1996 when Kurt Angle won and Olympic Gold Medal with a broken freakin' neck! It was because of that achievement, the then WWF came knocking! Ultimately, the deal fell through, and we didn't see the debut of Kurt Angle until 1999. So, why don't we turn back time and what would have happened if The Olympic Gold Medalist actually debuted in 1996? Our very own Ron Kilbourn celebrated his 40th birthday over the weekend, and it was capped off with a huge surprise party in the form of a wrestling show orchestrated by the Co-Host of this program, Cole Dawson & Ron Kilbourn's lovely wife, Mrs. Kilbourn, who herself, actually joined the match! The King of the Ring has officially kicked off, so what better topic to discuss than some of wrestling's finest that wore the crown. The King of the Ring could be seen as a steppingstone towards greatness of a complete gimmick make over! We have seen it all during our fandom. We have had an amazing time all month paying tribute to the late great Eddie Guerrero. We solidified our Top 10 Moments, and we booked the rest of his career if we had the honor of still having him in our lives! We are not done yet though. We are going to end this month the right way. Talking about what made Eddie Guerrero the best at what he did. His matches. Eddie has wrestled all over the world and all the major wrestling companies for his time period. Over 800 matches under his belt. We are going to somehow narrow that down to a list of the Top 10 best Eddie Guerrero matches that have ever taken place. A tall task for such a catalog of work.
